What is your call-out fee?

SF Locksmith do not charge a call-out fee, if we can not repair, replace or fix your door, window or security issue once we are onsite, you will not be charged a call-out fee. We will charge if we do fix the issue.

Is VAT included?

Yes. SF Locksmith is VAT registered and the price quoted includes VAT.

What are your hourly rates?

SF Locksmith do not charge by hourly rate. The vast majority of our work is completed within an hour, and we don’t charge extra if the work takes longer.

Are there additional charges for evenings or weekends?

Yes. There are additional charges for evenings, weekends. We do not class a same day call as an emergency call-out during standard work hours.

Can you provide an estimate before attending?

Stephen will provide an estimate and if you are able to send photographs or a video (via WhatsApp) so that a reasonable evaluation of the problem can be made before attending your property, even better. 25 years of experience enables Stephen to be able to accurately quote without attending.

Will you contact me before carrying out any work beyond the original quotation?

Yes. If the work is more complex than estimated, or additional parts are required, you will be advised of the cost increase and any delays in timescales before continuing with the work.

What options do I have for making payment?

You can make payment to SF Locksmith by debit card, cash or bank transfer.
