As the cost of living becomes more difficult, we have seen an increase in theft and burglary in Doncaster! You can argue that it is to be expected but that does not mean you do not need to be extra vigilent. 

I myslf have had prowlers looking to clone the car key but fortunatley this was not possible for that particular car. The remote "goes to sleep" after inactivity, great idea . But they then decided to breakin in the house but with high security locks and a big black noisey labrador in the house they left empty handed. The house was in darkness and so they knocked on the window to see if it was occupied but Henry was alert and earned his keep. 

This has now prompted myself to upgrade the cameras and order a new gate for the front of the house. 

The thieves are on next doors camera and what it shows is how relaxed they are about the attempt, no rush to be in and out. 

As a Doncaster locksmith I get to see how easy it is for thieves to break in to peoples property and the distress it leaves. I obviousley will promote the fitting of high security locks because they should be at the top of what you fit first to protect your home.
