Do Doncaster Locksmiths work at Christmas? I suppose that depends on each ones different cicumstances. At SF Locksmiths, we are available on Xmas Eve and then have the Xmas day off. In fact we were called out to a lady locked out on Xmas Eve evening this year. Her upvc door lock had failed and wouldn't open. But within 30 mins, we had attended and she was back in the house. Got to admit, I wasn't bothered about going but it comes that her sister had used me 10 years ago now she was in need of help. I'm a softy really!!

As for the rest of Xmas, we will be working and available during the day

 for the festive period. I don't do 24 hour call outs anymore so don't ring me at 2.00am and I'm not keen on Sundays either. 

We are all different as Lockmiths in Doncaster, some will prefer to take the whole period off. Some take the odd day and work others. There are many that state availabilty 24/7 but never answer the phone. 

Be careful when ringing around though. Try to get an accurate price for the work to be carried out. I hear weekly of low prices being quoted online and over the phone but on the locksmiths arrival, the price esculates four and five fold. The more information you can offer, the easier it is to quote. So if little information is requested then your suspicions should rise. I would never just turn up at a property without having an idea what the work entailed.
